The fairy ring gown was our FW25 finale look. Fairy rings occur naturally when fungi interrupts the growth of moss in circular patterns. They are associated with Irish folklore where stories of fairies, elves, and witches dance in circles around the ring-shaped portal to the fairy realm. Some tales share the warnings of fairy rings where outsiders who enter will be trapped in another world to eternally suffer.
The fairy ring gown features beaded velvet and mesh with black and white appliqué lace. A total of 130 loops and hand-sewn buttons run down the back. Preciosa crystals hang at the ends of each silk tie.
