Fairy ring gown

The fairy ring gown is our nyfw f/w25 finale look. Fairy rings occur naturally when fungi interrupts the growth of moss in circular patterns. They are often associated with Irish folklore where stories of fairies, elves, and witches dance in circles around the ring-shaped portal to the fairy realm. Some tales share the warnings of fairy rings where outsiders who enter will be trapped in another world with eternal suffering.

The fairy ring gown features a beaded mesh with black and white appliqué hand-cut lace. 130 hand sewn buttons detail the center back along the train. Preciosa crystals detail the ends of the silk tie.
